Henrietta Kwan is from Liverpool in the United Kingdom, and has been working in Japan since 2016.
She has a Master’s degree in TESOL from Lancaster University, UK, and has been working at Yamagata University since 2022 as an Assistant Professor. Before this, she worked as an Assistant Language Teacher of English in high schools in Japan, and as an English teacher and Assistant Project Director at an educational NGO in Hong Kong.
She enjoys cooking, travelling and learning Japanese through watching anime. She is passionate about finding ways to help students enjoy using English.
She currently teaches “English Communication Skills A”, “English Communication Skills B”, and “English through Multimedia”. She also hosts English Lunch Chat every week.
