As part of the Super Science High School Program (SSH) of Yonezawa Kojokan High School, students conduct research in collaboration with Yamagata University professors and students. For the finale, students from Kojokan High School present their research findings to an audience consisting of their peers as well as Yamagata University professors and students. On 5th July, after a 4-year gap due to the pandemic, the “Science Forum” was held in-person at the 2nd floor Lounge and Mirai Hall of Building 11.
In the first half, 66 high school students shared their research with the audience. Age aside, the high school students displayed the great effort and hard work that they put into their wonderful presentations. In the second half, two international students introduced the research that they have been working on everyday, talking in a way that was easy for everyone to understand.
