TAR UMT Professor Phang at Yamagata University, Faculty of Engineering (December 2023)
In 2023, an inter-faculty exchange program went ahead between the Yamagata University’s Faculty of Engineering (YU) and Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management & Technology (TAR UMT). Associate Professor Minakawa of the Chemical and Biochemical Engineering Department at YU visited TAR UMT between 18 to 28 September, and Professor Phang Soo Wei (YU alumna, doctorate degree) of TAR UMT visited YU between 13 to 21 December. During the visits, the professors gave seminars and held discussions related to their research and also introduced their home countries’ culture to students. Through this exchange, the friendship between the universities has deepened.
