On Wednesday 4 December, 18 international students and professors related to international exchange took part in the Discussion with International Students 2024 event.
At the beginning, representatives from the Yamagata Prefecture Police Department gave a seminar on crime prevention measures and bicycle rules. With the strengthening of bicycle rules and punishments, and the increase of people falling victim to crimes using social media as a platform, the representative gave important information and advice on precautions.
Next, students and professors discussed in groups about campus life. Students actively asked questions and made requests in order to improve their campus life, bringing about a good discussion with professors and other staff of the Faculty of Engineering.
