On March 22nd, YU and Yamagata prefecture collaborated together to hold a career seminar for international students introducing local businesses from Yamagata. 10 companies took part in the seminar and a total of 58 international students attended. Prof. Hiromi Nishina gave a lecture to international students about how to hunt for jobs in Japan and Prof. Makoto Ayabe gave a lecture to local business representatives on how to recruit and accommodate prospective international students. After the lectures, students went around to different booths to talk with representatives and collect information about the businesses in Yamagata.
