On November 3rd (Wednesday), 14 students from the Faculty of Engineering joined in boat ride and grape picking excursion! Mogami River is the longest river in all of Japan, and it flows beautifully through Yamagata. Everyone was impressed by views of autumn foliage along the river. After, everyone enjoyed picking “Canberra” grapes from an orchard. The sun shining against the pale green and yellow grapes was really lovely. Especially in these times of Corona, it was nice to be able to get out and enjoy Yamagata’s nature.
