On Friday 1 December, the 2023 Discussion on University Life of International Students of the Faculty of Engineering was held. The meeting was attended by 17 students from across the different departments of the faculty as well as department representative professors and international exchange related staff.
First, representatives from the Yamagata Prefecture Police Headquarters held a seminar regarding anti-crime measures. They covered different topics such as what students should keep in mind while living in Japan and evacuation during natural disasters.
Next, after a report on updates since last year’s discussion, international students began exchanging their ideas with professors on how to make the most of their time while studying at Yamagata University Faculty of Engineering. The students and professors were able to interact actively regarding the different aspects that students were concerned about.
