The new international student orientation was held on April 4th, and 13 new students participated.
In the orientation, students learned about various things that are important for their new life here at the Yonezawa campus, such as different procedures they have to do and the facilities available to them. In addition, new students were introduced to various bodies that are here to support them, including YUICY (Yamagata University International Circle in Yonezawa) – a student club for international exchange, the Yonezawa International Relations Association (YIRA), and PAGTY – a program to support international students who would like to find work in Japan.
We hope they settle well into their new life here!
