On Thursday 24 October, 12 international students visited two companies where YU international alumni are currently working at (Entegris Japan and Seiki Corporation). They heard about the process leading up to their employment and their daily working life in the company of Japanese employees. During the Q&A session, many questions were asked about the relationship between their field of expertise and their work, communication within the company, etc., and everyone listened with interest to all the explanations.
On Saturday 26 October, a total of 29 participants, including five graduates, visited Tendo in the depths of its autumn charms and discussed their thoughts on living in Yamagata while enjoying apple picking and autumn leaves under a blue sky. This time, the families of the graduates and international students joined them, and some of them thought about their own lives in years to come.
