On October 31, the 51st Share Your Experiences was held. This time, 3 presentations were given by students in English, who took part in two international exchange programs held over the summer break.
The first presentation was given by the 10 participants of the “International Exchange Summer Program in Mongolia”, who spent a week at the New Mongol Institute of Technology. Students presented about the exchange program that was under the theme of ‘Environmental conservation and energy issues: current status and future prospects for energy resources’, what they did and learnt, as well as the unique experiences they had in a foreign culture. From their presentation, it was evident that through seeing and experiencing different views and values to their own, they were able broaden their horizons.
Next, two students presented about their separate experiences on the ‘Independent Short-Term Study Abroad Program’, where they interacted with laboratories abroad by themselves. One student shared about his experiences at Technische Universität Dresden in Germany, and the other about his experiences at Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi in Thailand. With the support of the people at the destination laboratories, they were able to overcome unexpected problems and enjoy their time there. Through the presentations, we could see their personal growth.
With the many questions asked by members of the audience, the event went very well.
