On 18 November, the 2025 International Student Discussion Meeting was held. 16 international students and staff attended the meeting.

At the beginning, members of the Yamagata Prefecture police gave a seminar to students, informing them of cycling and traffic rules, and disaster prevention during earthquakes.

In the latter part, students and professors talked campus life as students shared their experience so-far. Some concerns that were brought up included wanting to know how to join circles, the difficulty of specialized Japanese terms, the lack of part-time work available for English speakers, and the desire to find work in Japan after graduation. Through their honest sharing, we could understand better the experiences of students studying abroad.
