Seven international students from Yonezawa campus enjoyed online English conversations with the seven third year classes at Takahata Junior High School. The first discussion was held on Thursday, May 13 and Friday, May 14, and the second was held on Friday, May 18, with a total of 13 international students participating.

During the first discussion, junior high school students asked the international students many questions using the present perfect tense (Have you ever been to ~?), which they are currently studying. The questions were about delicious ramen shops, as well as famous places and festivals in Takahata, such as Hamada Hirostake Memorial Hall, Takahata Winery, Aotake Lantern Festival, etc. They also exchanged stories about Japanese anime. It was a good opportunity for the international students to learn about Takahata.
