On January 18th, students from the Online Thai Exchange Program visited Thailand via an online tour. We could see Wat Paknam, a temple in Bangkok which was founded in the year 1610, during the Ayutthaya Period. It was a live online tour, so we listened to explanations about visiting temples, monks, and ceiling paintings, and we really had the feeling of walking around in the temple ourselves.

Japanese students were surprised how different the atmosphere in Wak Paknam seemed from the temples they know in Japan. On the day of the online tour, it was a warm 30* degrees, and though it was a short “trip,” students had a good experience!
