On 16 March, a graduation party was held for international students graduating in the Reiwa 4 academic year. The party was held at the Centennial Anniversary Hall and representatives of local support groups were invited to celebrate this occasion with students. Counting graduating students, guests and staff, a total of 22 people attended the event.
During the event, the guests – representatives from 5 local groups who support international students – introduced themselves and their memories with international students. This was followed by representatives of the graduating students, who shared about their memories of studying here. Finally, everyone enjoyed a quiz about Yamagata University and Yonezawa.
From April, several of the graduating students will be working in Japan – some in Yamagata Prefecture and some beyond. We wish them all the best and look forward to their future success.
