To strengthen ties between the New Mongol Academy and the Faculty of Engineering, the Deputy Director of the International Exchange Center visited the institution located in the capital, Ulaanbaatar, between 21-23 March 2023.
During the visit, the Deputy Director met with the institute’s Board Chairman Galbadrakh, a graduate of Yamagata University, and Career Development Center staff to exchange ideas. In addition, she was given a campus tour, introduced Yamagata University to students, and observed Japanese classes at the academy for high school students and engineering students.
So far, most of the interaction between the institutes has been through the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, but we aim to build a deeper connection between the institution and the Faculty of Engineering from now on too.
